A frequency converter is a kind of power control device that controls the work of AC motors by changing their working frequency and is based on advanced frequency conversion and microelectronic technologies.

Main composition: The main components of a frequency converter are the rectifier-an AC-to-DC converter, filter, inverter-a DC-to-AC converter, braking unit, drive unit, detecting, and microprocessing unit.
